First robovac I have ever owned. I did a lot of research before buying one because I didn't want to spend a fortune on a Roomba if it wasn't necessary. I have had this vacuum for over a month, and I absolutely love it. With 2 dogs and a cat, this makes daily fur clean up a breeze. No more lugging out the vacuum everyday to collect the "tumbleweeds" of fur. I run this on the MAX setting every night at 2am and I wake up to a clean floor. I am also shocked at how much this little robot picks up when I empty the canister. So much dust and fur! The robot is also very easy to clean and comes with all the tools you need to clean the beater bar/filters properly. 100% recommend this product. Only downside is sometimes it gets lost trying to find its way back to the charging station, so I have to manually dock it in the morning. Also it gets stuck under our couch sometimes, so I block off the couch before bed which has solved that issue.
I love robot vacuums. At this point, I've had one of almost all of the big (and small) brands of vacuums. What usually kills them isn't a defect so much as a surprise dog mess...After moving into my townhome without a working robo vac, and trying to sweep and vacuum the hardwood and rugs free of dog hair, I gave in and purchased a new robot vacuum. This one was the " Choice" and was within my budget (mostly -- but definitely more so than most of the big brands), I purchased it. My daughter calls him Nifty. I just go with it.If you're looking for a vacuum that does precise lines back and forth, move on. I don't require it, and this little guy is an excellent little cleaner. He always gets the edges and, with running him daily, the floors are clean and hair/dust/debris/random stuff free. I empty the bin every day to clear out the dust, take the spinning brush off once every 1-2 weeks and remove the hair and random string (two girls in a household with long hair, what do you expect?). It's easy to maintain and worth it's weight in gold.I even had a poopapocalypse happen with one of the dogs. I was able to clean Nifty up (all brushes, filters, bins, etc.) and he only tracked a little bit before erroring out, thus saving me a massive disaster. Granted, my dog "surprises" are not small (and thankfully rare), so it was probably a bit much for the little guy to deal with -- me too, to be honest. Once he was thoroughly cleaned (tg for bleach and bleach whipes), I wasn't sure if he'd still work, but he did! He went right back to his normal duties (see what I did there?) and has been regularly cleaning our home for a year now. My child sometimes thinks I love him more than her. To be fair, he does more cleaning...*Word to the wise: set your robo vacuum to run at night when your dogs sleep OR when you can keep an eye on it to prevent a poop-tastrophy. It will extend the life of your vac, and keep you from teaching your child new curse words.*
A little background before I begin: 1) We have had a Roomba for a little over 2 years now. 2) we have a 70 lbs Samoyed (look it up... fluffiest guy ever!)This gadget is PHENOMENAL! It cleans better than the $300 roomba, it fits underneath my furniture unlike the roomba, it avoids things instead of banging into everything (this depends on the “thing”), I can SCHEDULE a daily cleaning, which has made my life so much easier! And, it comes with a remote so you can actually guide it to where you want it to clean, much like a remote controlled car.I cannot say enough good things about this robo vacuum. I was at the point where I avoided using my roomba and preferred to vacuum regularly instead (nightmare with the fluffiest dog ever). My dark hard wood floors are no longer covered in dog hair the entire week until I can vacuum on the weekend. I have it scheduled for 10:30am every morning, and even working from home, I barely notice when it is doing it’s thing. My house finally feels C L E A N.THANK YOU, Eufy, for making such an amazing product at a much more reasonable price. (Plus it’s much more aesthetically pleasing :) )Buy it! You will not be disappointed.
We've had this two years and love it. We bought one for son and dil, they love it. She keeps a very clean home and is amazed at the amount of hair, dust it picks up and traps in the filter. We have a German Shepard that sheds like crazy, and it keeps up with all his hair. I like that it can be scheduled to run any time you want automatically. Didn't fall off edges of steps. Doesn't leave marks on baseboards. It cleans under beds, couches, around edges of rooms. Once in a while it would get stuck under a certain item, we just put a foot stool in front of it to block the vac. Battery still strong two years running daily. I did buy new side sweeper brushes that wore and fresh filters, but main brush still good.About to order another one for my daughter who now has 3 dogs... I know she's going to be very happy.
I am getting older and with dogs who shed a lot I was drowning and depressed trying to keep my house clean. I felt like I was losing the battle but a pandemic is not the time to have a maid come since we're high risk and isolating. Then a friend got a Eufy after doing a lot of research (I hate research) and she was raving over it so I ordered one too. OMG my life has changed so much! I have an old, blind dog so I run it at night on Auto while we have the dogs in our bedroom with the door closed. Then in the morning I run it on Single Room mode in our bedroom so I never have to worry about her getting stressed. It goes under the beds, sofas and chairs with no problem. Every morning the day starts with clean floors! I can't believe how full the dust bin is every single day, even if I mopped the day before. That's how much was building up and drowning me! I don't have to mop or dust as often because all the hair and dirt and dust from the floor isn't rising up to the furniture. Our house is all tile, no carpet or rugs and my floors are shiny ALL THE TIME! EVERYTHING is cleaner and I'm energized and feeling positive. I got a great follow up email from Customer Service too. I hope I never have to live without one again.
